About Triple Strike
Alan Baringer is not an Teenager With A Destiny. (He is twenty-seven years old).
He does not have a rural, uneventful existence on his adopted family's farm, nor is he the heir of a mysterious and great family. (He is fifth in succession to a very well-known fortune).
He is not an angsty, introspective man with identity issues -- oh, wait, yes, he is. He's a cop who's actually pretty damn good at his job. (He just doesn't like Complications).
Regardless, he's not a Teenager With A Destiny. He only happened to get picked up by a bunch of pyrean space pirates because of his sword. (Not that kind of sword!)
And now he's stuck going on wacky misadventures that might possibly involve a Destiny.
